Erin Halpin
Erin is a trained instrumentalist, choral conductor and licensed architect from Montreal (Canada). She sang in her first musical at age 5, and developed a passion for singing through a wide variety of vocal performances: musicals, choral festivals, symphonic choirs, professional chamber ensembles and a touring Indie rock band. While working full time as an architect in Montreal, Erin filled her spare time singing with elite choral groups (Montreal Symphony Orchestra Chorus, Quebec Chamber Choir, voces boreales) and directed a community church choir for a number of years. This special interest in choral music led Erin to pursue a Master's in choral conducting at the University of Sherbrooke.

Erin's work in architecture brought her to New York over a decade ago and since then she has performed with several groups in the NYC area, including C4 Ensemble, Downtown Voices, Cantori NY, Choral Chameleon and the Village Light Opera Group. She is co-founder of INSPIRE: A Choir for Unity, currently plays flute and sings with St Joseph's Gsus band and is very excited to be sharing her voice and love of performance with Accord Treble Choir.
