Amy Joscelyn

Amy Joscelyn, a mezzo-soprano, joined Accord in 2016. She has sung with various choirs throughout the years, most notably Kairos: A Consort, Cantori New York and Choral Chameleon. In 2007 she was accepted into the MENC All-Eastern Mixed Choir and went on to major in Vocal Performance at SUNY Geneseo. She has studied voice with Dr. Pamela Kurau, Drew Minter, and currently studies with Kevin Deas.

 

Amy enjoys learning new music and loves singing Accord’s wide-ranging and diverse repertoire, especially new commissions. In 2018, the group performed “Interim,” an original piece she composed for Accord. She hopes to continue composing and arranging pieces for future programs. Away from music, Amy works as a freelance editor of stories and novels, and streams video games on Twitch.
